The Art Room created engaged citizens by pairing up with Revival Coffee in Elk Creek to create positive pictures and messages for our community to see and feel with their next drink! Stop by and see what surprise picture you end up with this winter!

NTI packets will be coming home today, please keep them in a safe place. There is a letter attached that explains the process for NTI days and office hours as well. If you misplace your packet they can be found under Parent Resources on our School website for you to print additional copies.

STEM Happenings!






Ms. Riggs' 5th grade math students are empowered learners and activate collaborators as they use Major League Baseball cards to explore decimals place value through the thousandths by analyzing batting averages. Students enjoying donating their own baseball cards for this activity.






In art 3rd Grade learned about the Native American Culture this month and how Totem Poles were created from wood carvings to represent their tribe, family, travels, or to protect their village. They took the idea and created their own clay version. 2nd grade used clay to design and create their own character three dimensionally.

Reminder if you want to place a yearbook order to get the $22 price they are due by November 26th in person or online by November 30th. December 1st they go up to $25.


Today, the SCHS health science students taught a handwashing lesson to TES kindergarteners. Kindergarteners listened to a presentation and a book about germs. Then, students got to practice washing their hands to get all the colorful germs off!











November/December PTO Newsletter



Meet Mrs. Hollan's class pets! Students earned their pets for following great expectations and then made shelters for their prehistoric dinosaurs. The shelters had to include what their pets need to survive. They did an amazing job as Active Collaborators on this project.










TES has Tiger Talk tomorrow! Please have students wear their house shirts. Our Tiger Lair will also be open. Students can purchase items from 8:15-8:45 - Cash and Check are acceptable forms of payment. (See the attached image for items that will be on sale)
